Ghost World
Thora Birch
I liked this movie, it's definitely worth the rental price.
Queen of the Damned The movie was bad, I hope it doesn't spoil the book.

Jay and Silent Bob
Strike Back
Jay and Silent Bob
I didn't watch it. It might be great but I'll never know, I just can't get past Jay and Silent Bob.  They keep going with that same old shtick. I think I would have rather watched some old farmer beat his dead horse for an hour and half.

Behind Enemy Lines
Owen Wilson, Gene Hickman
This movie was really stupid but for some reason I loved the action and special effects.  If I were 10 years old I probably would have given it 5 stars but since I'm older it only got 3.  And by the way, is Gene Hackman in everything or what?

Vanilla Sky
Tom Cruise
I liked this movie more after I saw the special features.  It had some cool music but I think the original version called "Total Recall" had a better story.

Training Day
Denzel Washington
I liked it.  Denzel Washington deserved the Oscar.  Much better than "A Beautiful Mind".

Zoolander
Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Farrell
Great movie.  The funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

A Beautiful Mind
Gladiator guy
I didn't think this movie was that good.  They should have told the true John Nash story and left Hollywood out of it.
Blow
Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz
I thought this movie was good although it made me want to become a drug dealer.  The only downer in the movie is when you realize it's a true story.

Planet of the Apes
(remake 2001)
Marky Mark Wahlberg
Same plot as the original except Marky Mark is a better actor and the special effects are better.  Tons of features but I didn't watch any of them.

Planet of the Apes
(original 1968)
Charlston Heston
I really never knew that Charlston Heston over-acted so much, he was even worse than William Shatner.  I'm surprised that he ever found acting work again, it wouldn't have surprised me if they took away his Oscar for this performance.

Snatch
Brad Pitt - Guy Ritchie
This movie is about Brad Pitt who is this gypsy bare knuckle boxing champion (the ladies will love it, he's always taking his shirt off) and some Limey's trying to steel a diamond.  Well things get all fowled up and.... it's a mad cap comedy.  I should have bought the movie after I paid all the late charges.

The Family Man
Nicolas Cage - Tea Leoni
I really didn't want to rent this movie (in other words, it wasn't my pick), I thought it would be a super-chick flick but it wasn't, well not 100% anyway.  It's one of those trading places movies where people change lives and bodies and such.  Nick Cage has a chance to see his life as a family man instead of  a Wall Street power broker.  If you're a guy and you recently forced your loved-one to watch the Die Hard trilogy, it's not a bad one to give into on.

U-571
Mathew MaConaughey - Bill Paxton
Submarine movie, it was ok.  People who like "Das Boot" hate this movie but I've never seen "Das Boot".

Unbreakable
Bruce Willis - Samuel Jackson
I was expecting more.  One too many times to the well for Bruce and that Indian guy director.  It's almost a comic book movie, if you're expecting another Sixth Sense, don't bother.

Cast Away
Tom Hanks
This was a Fed EX commercial disguised as a movie.  I like Tom Hanks and if anyone should rip off "Robinson Caruso" it should be him,  I thought the movie could have been better, especially if it ended differently.

Proof of Life
Russell Crowe - Meg Ryan
This is the movie that during the filming Meg Ryan left Dennis Quaid.  Movies really do mirror life because in this movie Russell Crowe is trying to steal Meg Ryan away from her missing husband who went to Rice.  The movie was ok, although quite unbelievable,  sans the love story,

The Wedding Planner
Jennifer Lopez - Mathew MaConaughey
Not really much to say about this movie except for, I didn't see it.  You'll have to ask Melissa about this one.

Saving Private Ryan
Tom Hanks
I watched this movie again for the first time since I saw it at the movies and it was great!  I liked it a second time so much I watched it a third time and then I went and bought it.
